#8: My Top 10 Photo Spots in Downtown Sanford - pt 2

Hello friends!

Welcome back to this week’s photoblog where I share with you some more of my favorite photo spots in Downtown Sanford!

Last week I shared my top 3 spots and got really good feedback on it (THANK YOU). So, I wanted to share the rest of these gems with you! 💎

These are the treasures I found in the course of a year since moving to Sanford area (and I feel like there’s still so much more to explore).

But how about less talking and some more of..

👁👄👁

Enjoy!

  1. 305 Apartment Entryway

The arch, the colors, the font of ‘305’ - it’s all magical here ✨

Mother/daughter shoot - perfect lighting during the daytime

Address: 305 E 1st St

2. Wood Panel Ceiling

This wood panel ceiling is actually located right next door to the 305 Apartment Entryway!

When I saw this, I knew I had to come back to shoot with my fringe jacket.

Address: 309 E 1st St

3. Little Pink House

Explored Downtown Sanford with some friends and found this cuuute pink house as we were exploring.

I won’t be sharing the address since it’s private property, but there’s a ton of quaint houses in Downtown Sanford area!

4. Sanford Riverwalk

A birthday photoshoot for my friend at Sanford Riverwalk. The large body of water is Lake Monroe and makes up part of the St. Johns River system. Golden hour is beautiful here.

Address: E Seminole Blvd, Sanford

5. Downtown Sanford Clock

Had to get some shots at the famous clock in Downtown Sanford. Donated to the City of Sanford in 1931, this clock was placed on top of a pole and traffic signal on the street. See below for pictures of the historic clock back in the day (so neat).

Address: 214 E 1st St

6. Plant Wall #1

I love finding pretty plant walls, but these next two are just some that I just keep going back to whenever I shoot in Downtown Sanford.

Bottom right image is the sideview of the plant wall 🌿

Address: 307 E 2nd St

7. Plant Wall #2

I pass by this cactus bush often and I’ve loved seeing it grow - blooming with hot pink flowers there. 🌺

Photoshoot for What’s The Hype Podcast crew. Photos taken right after sunset for that dark contrast/moody vibe.

Address: 399 E 2nd St

8. Pink Wall #1

I’ve recently been obsessed with this pink wall and have done a few shoots here! You’ll find this wall hidden in an alleyway. Highly recommend coming here in the daytime as the sun is blocked off by the surrounding buildings.

Address: 149 Sanford Ave

9. Pink Wall #2

This wall is actually the same wall as pink wall 1 - just on the opposite end! I wanted to keep these separate since they gave me a different look/vibe. Love the blotches of paint though. Adds an artsy touch to the photographs, don’t you think?

Address: 149 Sanford Ave

10. Colorful Sanford Mural

And last but not least - the colorful mural in Downtown Sanford! Located in an alleyway between Hollerbach's German Cafe and Jeanine’s Folk Art shop, this mural adds pops of different colors.

Thanks so much for looking through.

I like to keep my words to a minimum so you can enjoy the photography.

If you ever check out any of these spots, please tag me. I’d love to see! ✨

Until next Friday at 5pm! Have a great weekend 💘
