#27: Cozumel, Mexico
Hello friends!
I totally missed you guys and felt so off not having to write a phlog last Friday!! I was away for my (future) cousin-in-law’s bachelorette, BUT I’m back and I’m here to show you the photos I captured from our trip.
We sailed on the Royal Caribbean and stopped at Cozumel, Mexico. While on the island we did a guided food tour, which was the highlight of the trip! We got to taste authentic Mexican cuisine, and it was all phe.nom.enal.

Pre-cruise events

Arrived in Cozumel! Took a taxi to MEGA supermarket. There we met with our food tour guide, Gerry!
First stop: mushroom and cactus quesadillas!
This was my favorite thing from the food tour. So simple yet so delicious! And the cucumber lemonade was LIT.
Next we headed on down to our next stop: pork tacos 🤤
These were the most juicy pork tacos, you guys. I’m drooling looking at these pics.
Btw, at each restaurant they gave us freshly made drinks! 👇🏼
At this point were were already getting full!
After tacos we took a short walk to an outdoor booth, where they were making fresh corn tortillas on the spot! Sprinkled some salt, rolled it up, and ate it just like that. These were especially good because they were steaming hot!
Took a small break from food and toured around a local market. I love the shots taken here.
After our break we went back to food! Next restaurant had a delicious chicken soup.
Drove to our next spot for shrimp ceviche and fried fish, ooph 👌🏼
And last but not least - ended the food tour with some baked goods! We were so stuffed at this point!
Of course, had to stop at Señor Frog’s. That was wild 😉
Woo and that’s it! It was a stellar time with Abby and her group of friends. I’m actually going on a cruise again in February but this time with my family of 30+ people. Very excited for that now.
