#29: Allie

Hello friends and welcome back to the phlog! I’m so glad you’re here because this shoot is actually now one of my all-time favs. Not only was this set super magical ✨ but it features my little sister 🧡

Allie is my half sister (same dad; diff mom), and she came to visit us! It’s not often she gets to hang so when she does it’s a very special time.

So less talking & more 👁👄👁

About the Setup

I used 3 blankets - first one to hang as the backdrop with a droop in the middle, second one to cover the hole from the hoop, and the third for the floor. This was all shot in my apartment directly in front of windows, which was our only source of light. Dried flowers were attached to the blanket using clothes pins 🥀As we played the album CINEMA by The Marías, we had our little shoot 📸

And that’s it, friends! I love the last set of photos where we were messing around with hair flips 😂 It was such a fun time bonding with my little sister and having her as my model. Ain’t she a beaut?! I also got to snap a few quick pics of her the next morning when the sun was peaking through the blinds 👇🏼
